Arriving by train/bus
You can travel by train via the Brenner line and change trains in Franzensfeste in the direction of Brunico. Or you travel via Villach and take the train in the direction of Lienz or Bruneck. Get off at the Welsberg stop and take the bus to St. Magdalena.
Arriving by plane
You can fly to Bolzano by plane, from there it is 100 km to St. Magdalena. Other options nearby are Innsbruck (130 km), Verona (250 km), Munich (300 km).
Arrival by private car
Coming from the Brenner axis by private car, exit the motorway in Brixen Nord in the direction of Bruneck and Monguelfo and turn off there into the Gsiesertal. Coming from the east, drive via Lienz in the direction of Brunico and turn off in Monguelfo into the Val Casies.
